Office of the Tsuchikage, Battle at The Obelisks (Mission / Closed)

The great central building stands tall on the Iwagakure skyline. Inside it's doors is a circular room, supported by four pillars of stone, reaching to the high ceilings. The room was lined with many doors, leading to bathrooms, small offices, etc. At the back was a receptionist attending the desk. Behind the desk were three more doors, each leading to the staircase connecting to the higher levels of the building.

At the top of the Obelisks, the final length of staircase levels out to a set of doors marked with the symbol of Iwagakure. Behind the great red door, beset in the stone walls, lay the office of the Tsuchikage. The circular room was quite large, the ceiling held up by six pillars around the office. The two on the far side hold up red banners with brown lining; in the center is a white circle, bordered in black and a centered symbol of Iwagakure.

Lined along the walls, windows show off almost the entire city. In the center of the circle of pillars, the platform raises five steps to a stone carved desk, stationed in front of a window facing the gates of the village. It was here that Rivu was seated, looking over papers.

He sighed heavily. "Damn mission requests, this is going to take me all day." He got up from his chair, facing a sliding door in the windows behind him. Pushing it aside, he stepped foot onto the stone balcony lining the building, his long blonde hair tickling against his scar. He leaned forward, supporting his body on the railing. Crossing his right foot behind his left, he closed his eyes and let his mind wander across the village. Like wisps floating through his mind, he saw every person in the village, or at least as far as he could muster. If only there were something to do.

The wind was howling outside as Zen'no stepped into the Tsuchikage's building and he walked in without hesitation.  As he entered the Tsuchikage's secretary looked up and was about to say something to the man so rude as to just barge in without saying hello.  She stopped however after seeing the black and red cloak and the lack of hands on the man; she knew it was Zen'no who was quite familiar with the Tsuchikage and did not require being let in or being buzzed up.  She wouldn't have been able to stop him anyways so she just shrugged and let it happen.
 
As Zen'no reached the steps which led to the Kage's office he pondered about the village in which he lived and why he still lived there.  Zen'no didn't have any particular attachment to anything in this village, or at least compared to the other villages.  Every village thought they were the best and most righteous but Zen'no knew that each one had their own justice to them.  He knew that they would fight tooth and nail to defend what they thought was right as well.
 
The reason I am predominantly in Iwagakure must be because of that man… Zen'no thought as he entered the Tsuchikage's office.
 
Rivu Aiasan was the Tsuchikage and he was someone who shared some of the beliefs that Zen'no did.  More importantly however was that he could back up his beliefs with power and power…is justice.
 
He saw Rivu leaning on the balcony staring out to the village and admiring the landscape.  Zen'no didn't want to disturb him but there was no doubt that Rivu had already sensed his presence enter the building.  Zen'no didn't have an elemental chakra nature as he forfeited any potential natures in order to perfect his art of Chakra Materialization and Manipulation(CMM).  This made it difficult for people to sense who he was since they couldn't tell from the type of elemental chakra he had.  On the other hand though it was odd for someone who had Zen'no's level of chakra supply to have no element for mostly young students were the only ones with no element and so people who knew him could usually tell who he was.
 

"Hello Rivu."

Rivu pulled his head up and opened his right eye. Of course, he had sensed the incoming ANBU from across the village; he was expecting his old friend. He had known him for some time now and had grown fond of him.Zen'no Sozonushi... He smiled to himself as he stood straight and turned around.

A gust of wind brushed Rivu's long blond hair out of his face, revealing the singed scar along his right eye. He stepped forward and slowly made for the door. Walking inside, he smiled at his friend and held his arms out in greetings. The sleeves of his white robe rolled down, revealing his newly fashioned weapons. Like stone wrapped perfectly around his arm, a sharp tip extended down below the wrist, ready to be snapped forward in a moment. The shaded indentations of the symbol of Iwagakure stood out in the dimming sunlight.

"Zen'no! Always a pleasure," he said, gesturing for the guest to have a seat opposite him. He took his place in his own chair. Rivu sighed as he sat, relieved to be seeing some people again. Just as Rivu knew Zen'no's chakra, he also knew his attitude. "I imagine you're awfully bored." He said, as he sensed some faintly familiar chakra signatures in the village below. Well now, who do we have here? He thought, following the pattern of three distinct shinobi below.

He scoffed to himself and looked up to Zen'no. "Well, as it so happens, we've got company." He said, with a bit of a laugh. "Three missing-nin, A rank criminal shinobi from this village are marching on this building as we speak." He stood up and waved for Zen'no to follow. Crossing his arms behind his back, Rivu stepped onto the balcony and looked below.

They were small, but he focused in on them, with the help of his sensory abilities. "Meet me downstairs? I want to say hello to these gentleman." He said, sinking slowly into the stone structure.

[I will be maneuvering down to the base of the tower and to the gates unless you stop me here].

Rivu looked up upon his entry and turned to face him in order to greet him.  As he turned his scar over his eye was revealed but was quickly covered again by his hair.  Some people feel awkward when they see scars like that but Zen'no was not one of them.  He had his own sort of scar and he was used to seeing Rivu enough anyways.  Rivu smiled at him and told him that there was a mission that they could do that very second.  Using his sensory abilities Rivu had discovered 3 A rank missing ninja were approaching the Kage's office to try and kill him.  Rivu walked over to the balcony to check out what they looked like before turning back to Zen'no and telling him to join him below.  Rivu grinned and began to sink into the earth using one of his signature jutsus.
 
"Alright, those who disrupt the peace must be eliminated." Zen'no responded.  "I'll meet you down there."
 
Zen'no walked over to the balcony as Rivu sank completely into the ground and looked over to see what kind of enemies he would be fighting.  There were 3 ninja with crosses on their headbands walking towards the Kage's office.  The villagers were getting out of their way and they stood out like a sore thumb and were almost asking to fight.
 
Well if it's a fight they want… Then we'll kill them.
 
Zen'no jumped off of the balcony and began to fall towards the missing ninja below.  As he was beginning to lose control of his speed he looked at an area in front of him and forced his chakra to take up that space.  He wanted a platform so that he would be able to get down quickly and efficiently.
 
Chakra Materialization and Manipulation(CMM): Quadrilateral Platform!
 
His blue chakra appeared in a square shape below him at a 45 degree angle and as he hit it he made sure to buckle his knees in order to get ready for his next jump.  He pushed off the platform and jumped downwards using his mind to make sure his platform came down with him.  He quickly swept the platform under him again and then jumped off to the ground below.  It wasn't just the second floor so he needed to use more than one platform in order to get down.

He created another platform and as he fell interchanged between the two tso that he would be able to keep up his high speed but get down without injuring himself.  As he hit the ground he got rid of the platforms to preserve chakra and looked up to be face to face with the three ninja and they did not look happy.
 
"Hey what are you some kind of circus clown?" Said the one in the front with a scar on his cheek.
 
On closer inspection he had scars all over his body as well and some burn marks on his hands.  At his hips he held twin swords which had scorch marks on them as well.  It was obvious that the one in front was a master with swords and had recently been learning to apply fire chakra to them but hurt himself a few times before he got it down.  Zen'no stared emotionlessly at the group and stared the man in front in the eyes.
 
"What you got a problem?"  The man looked at Zen'no and scanned his body obviously noticing his hands. "Ya cripple!"
Zen'no met the man in the eyes and calmly activated his genjutsu.  He could only activate it if they met eyes which was hard against a moving fighting target but he was almost asking him to do it.

The enemy's sight would disappear and give Zen'no plenty of time to attack the other two while Rivu came to aid him.

Jutsus used:

Rivu watched as his ally descended from the balcony. Bold move, friend. That will surely get their attention. His body was now fully submerged into the rock of the building when he stopped. Ah yes, I almost forgot. He jumped from the stone and landed on his feet, his white cloak draping over his red shirt and gray pants. He walked over to the desk, focusing on Zen'no and his chakra output. Interesting technique, friend. He laughed to himself, reaching his hand to the far end of his desk. He gripped his white and brown covering, the headgear of the Tsuchikage, and started for the door.

A gust of wind blew once again, brushing his hair from his face once again. His hat rustled in his grip as he continued to watch the display below. "A genjutsu, eh Zen'no? well, that appears to be my cue." He said, as his body sank into the rocks once again. Turning his body upside down, Rivu solidified rocks at his hands and at his heels. Using these solid rocks as stones to grip and pull or kick off, Rivu's velocity was impeccable.

He reached the base of The Obelisks very quickly, about as fast as Zen'no did just before him. Rivu righted his body, standing upright in the wall of The Obelisks. As he hovered in the wall, he raised his arms. Dragon, Tiger, Boar; Earth Style, Hidden Rock Swordfish! As he prepared himself to jettison from the wall, he noticed one of the shinobi doing hand signs.

Gah, a sensory type. Lightning style ninjutsu? Smart, but not smart enough. Forcing chakra from the palm of his hands and feet, his body shot from the wall, rapidly moving towardsa a building opposite as a bolt of lightning cracked and turned a large portion of the wall of The Obelisks to rubble. He landed on the far wall of a building across the way, a couple dozen meters away. Continuing his use of the Hiding Like a Mole Technique, he colided with the rock and passed right through. He slowed down and recovered to the surface, facing his enemies.

"I'll have you know," he said, putting his kage headgear on. "This is my village, and I won't have you blowing holes in my walls." He said, fists clenched, chakra briefly flashing through his fingers. With one eye glaring, the wind gusted, revealing his scar. "I will defend this village with my very life. I assure you, though, he smiled, "it probably won't come to that."

Used Techniques:

Rivu appeared beside him as he shot out of the wall beside him and flew to a building opposite of the Kage's building.  A flash of lightning whizzed by Zen'no's head and hit the area where Rivu had been a few seconds earlier.  The ninja had known where Rivu was even before he showed himself out of the rock.  That ninja must have been a ninjutsu and sensory expert then…  Rivu appeared out of the other building and taunted the ninja and Zen'no foccused back on the work at hand.  While all of this had taken place the ninja in front of him had been trapped in his genjutsu and began to look around wildly trying to see his surroundings.
 
"W-what the hell? I cant see!" The man yelled as he continued to thrash about.
 
The last shinobi who was standing behind the blind man had long blond hair and was extremely calm during the ordeal.  She put her arm on the blind one's shoulder and released a bit of chakra into him and suddenly he could see again.  The man was angry and instantly took out his swords to swing at Zen'no.  He was already dodging the attack however and was already a few feet back having already moved the moment the genjutsu was released.
 
The man in back must be a genjutsu expert since he knew what had happened so quickly and could resolve the situation so easily.  I'll leave the ninjutsu ninja to Rivu and will take on these two for now.
 
The man armed with swords began to rush towards Zen'no and swung both blades in a sweeping motion vertically down onto his head.  Quickly Zen'no put up his arm to block the attack and materialized chakra around his arm.  The full shape finally came into place and the claws formed at the end of this chakra arm.  The blades stopped on impact and the man's face turned to shock.  Zen'no forced his arm out and to the side and the man jumped back in surprise.  Zen'no stood tall, one of his arms now coated in his blue chakra forming a thick long armor ending in the familiar claw of a panther that he had mastered quite a long time ago.

"W-what are you?"  The man stuttered as he put up his swords again in defense.
 
"Justice."

Jutsu Used:

Rivu watched in amusement as Zen'no toyed with the shinobi. His chakra marterialization and manipulation techniques never ceased to amaze him. As a sensory type, sensing pure manifestations of chakra was definitely something he had to get used to. He was impressed, but he couldn't help but shake his head and let out a judgmental sigh under his breath. You and your justice. He thought to himself. You're a very strange man, Zen'no, but I'm glad your on my side.

"Now it's my turn!" He said, standing outward from the building. He raised his arms above his head and swung down. The bracers around Rivu's arms snapped forward to his wrists, the long stone-like point extending well beyond his fingertips. Two of the shinobi were focusing on Zen'no while the sensory kept his gaze fixed on the Tsuchikage. As his eye glazed over the scene below, he focused his good eye onto the attacking shinobi and smiled. He sunk into the ground and, clawing at the dirt, he rapidly reached the ground below. The enemy didn't move, presumably waiting for Rivu to make a move with his sensory abilities.

If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get. He thought, raising his arms to his chest. Ram, Dragon, Tiger, Boar! He repeated these hand signs three times, almost revving the chakra in his body. Earth Style, Hidden Rock Shark! Pockets of chakra culminated around Rivu's forearms, the sides of his legs and his head. These pockets attracted the surrounding earth and stone, creating dense fin-like constructions on the outside of his legs and arms. Reaching the length of the forearm and his thighs, the rocks are about 5 centimeters wide and tappered to 1 centimeter at the end, 10 centimeters away. From the forehead to the back of his neck, a spine of rock formed, separating his blonde hair down the middle.

With a sudden burst of chakra from his hands and feet, he lunged forward towards his target. Breaching the ground, Rivu was mid-air and approaching fast, faster than the enemy shinobi could move. He stood in shock for that brief moment as Rivu closed the gap. Rivu yelled out, reeling his right hand back, preparing to strike. He punched the attacking shinobi in the gut. The man hunched over Rivu's fist as the Tsuchikage jumped back several meters. He removed his headdress and, bending over, placed it gently on the ground as the enemy buckled onto his knees.

Used Techniques:

Rivu had equipped his bracers and jumped into the ground activating his shark fin armor.  He had become faster and stronger and quickly hit the ninjutsu master in the gut.  Zen'no wasn't sure if this would knock him out for good but he wasn't really paying attention since he had his own fights to be worrying about.  The swordsman had gathered his thoughts and rushed at Zen'no once more.  Zen'no blocked the attack with his panther claw once again but this time he was not able to deflect the blow.  The man's swords had burst into flames and the power behind them had increased with it.  Zen'no was starting to be pushed back when all of a sudden his surroundings disappeared.  he could still feel the weight of the swords against his chakra arm but his sight had completely gone away.

"Is that all you've got?" Zen'no said in a quiet voice as he expelled chakra from his body to clear himself of the genjutsu.  His vision returned and he immediately looked over to the woman who seemed to be the genjutsu specialist.  Specialist was a relative term since she wasn't nearly as skilled as he was but she was better than the average shinobi.  He looked her in the eyes and cast the same technique on her just to show the difference in ability.

Bringer of Darkness

She would be able to get out of the genjutsu in a few seconds since she was pretty skillful but he wouldn't wait that long for her to recover.  He concentrated chakra in front of him and divided it into five different pieces.  He instantly shaped them into the familiar form of long swords and held them hovering in the air above himself.  He pointed the edges towards the enemies and let them fly towards their destinations.  The woman was still in his genjutsu and couldn’t see and the swordsman was stuck in their strength deadlock.

CMM: Execution!

Jutsu Used:

Rivu watched as the ninjutsu shinobi crumbled to the ground. Hmph, as I thought, a Rock Clone. He landed, skidding backwards on his knees. Supporting himself with his hand, he stood up. Shredded fabric clung from the bottom of his white robes. He looked down and sighed heavily. He turned and watched Zen'no and his antics. The chakra manipulation was always an impressive sight. His gaze fixed on the fight and his mind looking for the original ninjutsu shinobi, Rivu slid his robe off over his shoulders, where it fell to the ground. He pinched the tip of his cowl and pulled it off his head. He bent his knees and set it on the ground.

As he watched, the cloud of chakra separated into five pieces that turned to swords in turn. "Zen'no, no!" He yelled, black streaks appearing on his head. Four lines, emanating from his neck and around his hairline, taper to points before reaching his face. This was his power as a Cursed One. His body filled with nature chakra, enhancing his capabilities. He crouched down and  leaped towards the other fighting shinobi. Forcing chakra through his palms and feet, the ground beneath him sunk in and cracked.

In a flash, Rivu was between Zen'no and the offending shinobi. Difficult to see in the blur, the black lines across his body glowed orange and expanded across his body. They faded as quickly as they spread, leaving his skin gray and his eyes, black and yellow. Still midair, he swung his arms down, crashing through each sword as it went it's way towards the enemy. They shattered as Rivu followed through with his lunge and kicked off of the swordsman. His body flew into the wall behind Zen'no as the recipient of his kick fell to the ground. Rivu clawed his way out of The Obelisk wall as the swords were still shattering.

[Second Stage of Cursed Ones Kekkei Genkai achieved]

He put his arm on Zen'no's shoulders for support mere seconds after his hat was on the ground. He affixed his eye on the apparent genjutsu user. "Zen'no, my friend," He said, putting his weight on his right leg and leaning on his loyal ANBU friend. "These guys won't be much of a big deal, I'm sure we can clear this up without getting blood all over these streets." He opened his mouth wide and smiled, laughing. "We've dealt with harder." He said, flashing his eyes at the attacking shinobi.

"Now, let's start with you. Who are you guys and what do you want?" He said, putting his leg down and stepping forward. Standing beside Zen'no, his arms and legs markedly larger, his entire body appearing to stand another six inches taller.

Zen'no's chakra swords flew through the air at their destination when all of a sudden they shattered and the shards of his chakra scattered into oblivion.  Rivu had unleashed his power as a cursed one in order to rush over to stop his assault.  His body had transformed and his arms and legs were longer than before.  His skin had turned grey and he had turned into a force to be reckoned with.  Unlike others of the cursed clan or those who had curse marks, Rivu did not lose his sanity when he activated his curse and remained in control of his emotions at all times.  He spoke to Zen'no and told him that they didn't need to spill any unnecessary blood on the pavement of his village.  Zen'no thought this was strange since he had hit the ninjutsu master hard enough to splatter him along the streets.  It turned out to be a clone but the point was that these criminals needed to be defeated and it seemed like killing them was the easiest option.

I guess I'll have to defeat them the hard way.  If it were up to me I would just kill them but what Rivu says goes.  It was his village and he is also the strongest, by Zen'no's belief of "the person who has the most power is justice", Rivu was to be listened to.

"Alright fine.  But if things get out of hand I'm killing them."

The Swordsman was still struggling to break Zen'no's 'Panther Arm' and Zen'no needed to end it quickly.  He didn't seem to have any intention of answering the Kage's question and Zen'no had the opportunity to end him without killing him and took the opportunity.  Materializing more chakra in front of him, Zen'no manipulated its shape into a copy of the first thing he had every created with his chakra.  

CMM: Severed Hands

The two chakra hands hovered in the air and flew towards the swordsman wrapping their finger's around his throat.  Zen'no didn't plan on killing the man if necessary and the man definitely wouldn't be able to focus on blocking Zen'no's 'Panther's Arm' while being strangled.  Zen'no sensed a source of chakra form above and noticed the ninjutsu master falling from the sky getting ready to unleash a jutsu onto himself and Rivu.  At the same time the genjutsu master had broken out of Zen'no's illusion and began to perform several hand seals.

This would be so much easier if we could just kill them.

Jutsu Used:

The ninjutsu specialist did not go unnoticed. Rivu found him high in the air and turned his head to face it. He flashed a wicked grin across his face. It was true, Rivu had shown a surprising amount of composure when using his cursed abilities. The stories of his clan and the other Cursed Ones were not pleasant. Monstrous creatures, capable of changing forms and immense power. Barely human, their madness was legendary. This was where Rivu stand out. He held onto his sanity. While the curse affected his mind, his ability to recognize his allies remains. More importantly, it allowed him to recognize his enemies.

Rivu's mind stayed plastered to the two enemy shinobi when the third made himself known. Sensing the chakra signatures of people around the scene, Rivu noticed one jumping off of a nearby rooftop. Zen'no must have noticed him as well. As his attention focused on the ninjutsu user in the air, he noticed one of the other two starting hand seals. "Genjutsu, eh? Oh no you don't!" Rivu laughed, opening his maw wide. A large rock formation came forth as he bent over and coughed up the golem. The rocks cracked and connected forming a humanoid shape that stood up next to Rivu, matching his increased height.

The rock golem surged forward, charging the genjutsu user as he completed his hand seals. As it ran forward, the light faded from Rivu's vision. I know this technique. Ha, if you are expecting me to fall for this technique, you should not have let me see it three times in the past minute. Everything faded to darkness. The ninjutsu shinobi in the air was a threat, he needed to defend himself.

Arching his back, he curled his arms towards his chest. Nature chakra surged inside his body and his skin grew a darker shade of gray. His head faced his chest as a growth emerged on his forehead. Within a blink of an eye, the growth grew out of the bridge of Rivu's nose. Curling around the eyes, it reached across the Cursed One's brows to his hairline. Fanning out on each side, a rigid crest emerged. [OOC: Think something like the Xenomorph Queen's head, with a slightly smaller scale.]

"Aaurgh!" Was all that he had time to say in that moment as his eyes faded to black. His body curled over, his skin shifted and morphed, scales emerging across his body as it faded to the darker gray. He lifted his head, the crest on his brow covering his neck and much of his back. Rivu's prepared for whatever technique was about to be thrown at him. He lifted his face, his eyes looking for an enemy, his teeth bared and menacing. His eyes grew wide as he recognized the chakra signature's movements. Zen'no! It was heading for his comrade.

Stat Changes from KKG:

In the darkness, Rivu sensed the location of his friend. Forcing Chakra through his feet, he jumped himself in the path of incoming lightning technique. Lightning being powerful against his Earth Style techniques was not pleasant, but Zen'no had his 'hands' full. He prepared himself to take the force of the impact, the likes of which would probably destroy his Hidden Rock Shark augmentations, but it was a reasonable loss.

The rock golem swiftly collided with the genjutsu specialist, knocking her to the ground as Rivu's body maneuvered between Zen'no and the ninjutsu attack. Unless the enemies technique is powerful, he is ready for whatever the ninjutsu user is going to throw. It's all on you Zen'no. He thought to himself as lightning emanated from the hands of the incoming ninjutsu user's hands. Be gentle. He closed his eyes and laughed to himself.

Used Techniques:

The ninjutsu master fell from the sky and unleashed his lightning attack down onto the two Iwagakure ninja.  It seemed to be aimed at both of them but in reality it was being focused on Zen'no.  He was currently occupied and would need to disengage his current opponent in order to dodge the attack.  Rivu knew this and with his godly speed he jumped in the way of the attack in order to block it for him.  As the ninjutsu master fell continued to fall through the sky Zen'no wanted to make sure he wouldn’t be able to continue to attack them any further.  Zen'no was having enough trouble handling the swordsman and genjutsu master and the ninjutsu one would have to wait his turn.  He concentrated his chakra once again and formed the familiar chakra hands in front of him.  He added more details and made them bigger giving them more power and made them more useful for restraining someone.

CMM: Reinforced Guantlets

The two chakra gauntlets were about twice the size of the severed hands and instead of sending them at the swordsman he sent them at the ninjutsu master.  The guantlets sped through the air and punched the master in the stomach.  The ninjutsu master had the wind knocked out of him and flinched for a second and in that second the gauntlets moved again and each grabbed one of his wrists and pinned them to the building behind them.  He was now unable to move his arms or connect his hands to perform ninjutsu and was essentially out of the battle.  Zen'no could now focus on finishing the swordsman.

The swordsman's face was turning slightly purple but Zen'no didn't have all day to wait until he finally passed out from being strangled.  The man was big and muscular and his hand's didn’t have that much power.  Zen'no concentrated once more on forming another chakra form next to him and had it shape around his left arm this time.  He manipulated the chakra to form another huge arm with the sharp panther's claws at the end of it.

CMM: Panther's Claw

Using both arms at once he pushed aside the man's swords making them fall to the ground and the flames that had enveloped them went out.  He released the severed hands form the man's neck and sent them flying towards the ninjutsu master to prevent him from moving his feet.  Using his now two giant chakra arms Zen'no picked up the swordsman with both hands and held him there immobilized.  The only one left to take down was the genjutsu master and Zen'no was confident that Rivu hadnt taken too much damage and would be able to handle her.

Jutsu Used:

A sharp bolt of lightning emanated from the ninjutsu master's hands. Rivu had launched himself in time to absorb the blast. With a loud crack, it made contact with his back. With a white-blue flash, the fins of rock along his head, forearms and legs shattered. They splintered and flew away with great velocity. It was not a technique Rivu had seen before, but, based on the damage, it could not have been more than a B rank technique.

His body continued through the air as it hit his back. He winced, closing his eye in pain. He landed on his chest as he fell to the ground. The earth wrapped around him as he descended into the topsoil. He clawed at the ground, chakra pulsating out of his feet and hands as he maneuvered beneath the fight. Zen'no's chakra signature expanded and spread, his manifestations moving around with great speed and accuracy. Rivu let a smile reach across his face as he moved through the dirt.

The golem he had made before was standing over the opposing shinobi, holding her down. She looked fearful, frantically pushing at the massive rock hand over her chest. From underneath, an arm reached over her head, grabbing her face. Rivu let chakra flow through his arm, extending through the enemy genjutsu specialist. She sank into the ground at the Tsuchikage's mercy. He wrapped both of his arms around her and pushed through the ground by forcing chakra from the base of his feet. He righted himself near his comrade and began ascending to the surface. As he raised, the genjutsu specialist held in his arm became visible.

Her eyes were wide and her breathing was heavy and irregular, clearly she had never spent any time beneath the earth. Rivu Patted her head as he looked around to see Zen'no's handiwork. "Now, now," he said softly with a smile on his face. He grabbed her shoulders and lifted her in front of him. His eye a deep black and yellow, he looked her in the eyes. She stared back in horror as his face shifted. His teeth shifted and dark growths emerged from his brow. His hair turned white and stiffened against the wind. He looked at her with pity and laughed. "I guess when you spend all of your time underground, you don't fear being buried in it."

She fainted and Rivu set her down. He let out a laugh. "See Zen'no, now we don't have to worry about cleaning anything up." He continued to laugh as the crest on his forehead withdrew. His gray skin glowed orange

While Zen'no had been taking care of the ninjutsu master and the bukijutsu master Rivu had been hit with electricity.  The lightning was extremely effective against his earth supplements and destroyed them and shocked his body.  Having been in his awakened cursed state however he was hardly injured and fell right through the earth upon impact.  He was quite fond of using the hiding like a mole technique and he used it as easy as if he was breathing.  The earth golem he had created previously had easily restrained the genjutsu master and she was being held to the ground.  It was a perfect plan since the woman didn’t have much physical strength to break free and the golem was unaffected by genjutsu since it wasn’t actually sentient.  Swimming through the ground, Rivu appeared beneath the woman and had the golem release her so that he could grab her himself.  He extended his area of chakra to encompass her body and brought her down into the earth with him.  She had never experienced this technique before and passed out from the shock as he brought her back up to the surface.

Zen'no had restrained the two A rank missing ninja but they were still conscious and would probably fight back the minute they were released.  Rivu didn’t want Zen'no to kill or them or make them bleed so he would need to do it a cleaner way.  Zen'no stood there for a few seconds and couldn't think of any surefire way to do this.  He materialized some chakra in front of him and formed another pair of severed hands.  These were some of his most versatile but also weak creations and he hovered them over to either side of the weapon master's head.  He opened the hands up so the palms were facing the man's ears and slammed them into both sides of his head.  The results of being hit on both sides of the head with equal force rattles the brain a bit so that the person in question loses consciousness at the very least.  It can cause some brain damage or lead to strokes if not treated quickly but Zen'no was sick of pitying the enemy.  These were criminals who had killed innocent people.  Justice dictated that they were punished and if this would do the job.  After the weapon master was clearly knocked out, Zen'no brought the hands over to the ninjutsu specialist and did the same to him.  Zen'no slowly lowered him to the ground and undid all of his chakra materializations which dropped the swordsman to the ground as well.  Zen'no looked at Rivu and with a straight face spoke;

"Criminals apprehended."

Jutsu Used:

Like a wave across his body, his gray skin turned orange and red as fire. As the color faded away, his skin returned to it's normal pigmentation. He waved his arms back and forth and stretched his neck. His right eye returned to normal as his face cleared up; he started towards Zen'no, finishing off the final two shinobi. Rivu watched as his trademark chakra manifestations clobbered on the sides of the enemies heads. Scratching the side of his head, he wondered about his comrades methods. "Well, I suppose I did tell you not to spill their blood. But I did expect a little bit more finesse from you, haha," he said, closing his eye and letting out a slight laugh.

Opening it, he met the gaze of several villagers along the perimeter of the scene. The scene was relatively unharmed. He sighed and smiled as he continued to walk. He turned his head to the left and he spotted it in his blind spot. "Well, now we have to deal with this." He groaned at the hole in the wall of The Obelisks. "Ah, well. Could've been worse, I suppose." Upon reaching Zen'no, Rivu reeled back his fist and punched Zen'no on the shoulder playfully.

"Now then," he said, noticing the drool starting to emanate from their mouths. "Here we've got some pretty nasty criminal shinobi. It also looks like they have some pretty nasty concussions going on as well. He let out a sigh, these people must have come for a reason, they needed to find out what. "Run to the Iwagakure Medical Center, find a medical specialist and bring them here." It'd be faster to go myself, but come on Zen'no. You're ANBU, you should know better than that. Again, he looked on his comrade and sighed. "We'll talk when you get back." He said, looking sternly into Zen'no's eyes.

The rustling of people moving around the area and the murmurs of the citizens began to fill the area as people began to surround the two ninja and their prisoners. They had been watching the battle from a distance and had finally approached them since the fight was now finished. Rivu stood up, his skin began to turn back to normal with the bright orange glow that would recede until his skin turned back to normal. His curse form was now receded and he looked over to Zen'no and gave him a look. He was disappointed by Zen'no's inability to not injure the criminals but Zen'no wasn't having any of it. There was a mission and he performed it splendidly. He even held back and didn't kill them upon the Kage's request so there wasn't much he should be in trouble for. Nevertheless Rivu asked to see him after he dropped the bodies off at the hospital and Zen'no nodded his head in acceptance.

Zen'no concentrated his chakra in front of him and materialized three separate blobs which he then manipulated into three quadrilateral platforms. He moved them so that they inched under each of the criminal's bodies and then lifted them up in the sky. This way he could transport all of them at once and not have to use too much chakra. The crowd of people around them ooh'd and ahh'd at the sight of Zen'no's jutsu and Zen'no began walking towards the hospital. The citizens of Iwagakure had seen Zen'no's techniques many times but since they were so versatile and unique they always watched him so his work. Zen'no didn't mind them since he was proud in a sense of his enlightenment which led to his creation of CMM but nevertheless he did not interact with any villager unless it was necessary and he walked on by them in silence.

Jutsu Used:

Release.He thought, the chakra flowing through his hands and feet dissipated as his Hidden Rock Techniques, Water Inspiration faded. Rivu crossed his arms and watched as Zen'no walked away. A gust of wind picked up, brushing the blonde hair out of his face. Blowing to his left, his right eye, gray and exposed, stared at his friend walking away. The scar along his left eye, a reminder of the cost of protecting the village, stung slightly in the breeze. As Zen'no disappeared around a corner, Rivu turned and sighed. He walked up to The Obelisks and outstretched his hand to grasp the hole in the wall. He took a sharp breath out of his nose and smirked.

The chakra signatures of the crowd whirled in Rivu's mind, but one stood out. A faint sensation stepped forward and approached the Tsuchikage from behind. He turned to see a child behind him, arms outstretched. Rivu smiled as the child returned his white robe and hat. "Thank you," he said, getting down on one knee and patting the child on his head. He rose to his feet, pulling his arms through the sleeves of his white robe; the bottom torn to strips and rustling in the breeze. The child extended the hat to Rivu, who pinched the brim and placed it upon his head.

He turned to face the crowd. "Everything's taken care of everyone, don't worry!" He yelled, smiling wide and closing his eye. He raised his arm and waved to the crowd. He dropped it and turned around, stepping into the building's wall using his beloved Hiding Like a Mole Technique. He clawed his way up to the top and stepped out of the stonework into his office. He took a seat at his desk and removed his Kage hat and examined it. He smirked at it and set it to the side and awaited the return of his friend Zen'no.
