Zen'no Sozonushi  | |  Kaze no Kuni, or The Land of Wind, is a gigantic wind swept desert positioned west of Hi no Kuni, bordering the River Country, and going far into unknown territory in the further west. On the eastern-most part of the country, sitting in a fortress of natural protection, is Sunagakure, the Village Hidden in the Sand.

Kishin | |  Oto no Kuni, The Land of Sound, once known as Ta no Kuni, the Land of Rice Fields, is a vast area of green, wet fields of rice , the world's biggest food source. It also has a mountainous area filled with canyons and caves. Over time, Oto no Kuni has become larger, and has become a Major Nation, when once it was very small. It's Shinobi village is Otogakure no Sato.

Admin | |  Mizu no Kuni, or the Land of Water, is a large group of islands positioned to the far east of the world map and now spreading south to also include the large islands of Nagi and O'uzu, as well as all minor territories around it. The island at it's center houses deep within a misty mountain range, Kirigakure no Sato, the Village Hidden in the Mist.

Kenshin Sanada | |  Tsuchi no Kuni, or The Land of Stone, is a large country dominated by mountains and rugged hills, with valleys protecting it's villages, dangerous winding roads, deep chasms, and many rivers. Hidden far within it's confines is it's Shinobi village, Iwagakure no Sato, the Village Hidden in the Rock.

Rivu Aiasan | |  Kaminari no Kuni, or The Land of Lightning is located on the far north=east corner of the mainland, and is a peninsula. It mostly consists of very tall mountains where people live happily high up above the ground. The country's Shinobi Village is called Kumogakure, the Village Hidden in the Clouds, which is a very appropriate name indeed. In addition, this area is known for it's violent thunderstorms, which is why it's called the Land of Lightning.
