| The mist the Land of Water was so renowned for swallowed the two shinobi whole, hiding their boat from all view. They had taken just a small boat, big enough for maybe four people. Saiko sat on one side, while Kenshin sat on the other. Even though they were ninja who could water-walk, they were using old-fashioned oars to propel their boat across the water. In the deep mist, it was hard for Kenshin to see a thing. As such, he allowed Saiko to take full control, and trusted he knew where he was going. They continued their general small talk. Time began to flow by. The oars continued to twist and twist. And twist. And twist. And twist ...
Soon, Kenshin was getting the feeling that they weren't going anywhere. It had been a long time since he had actually seen something outside of this heavy mist. Was Saiko lost? Kenshin decided to ask, being told that they were still on-course. He then questioned how Saiko knew where they were going. Apparently, Toshikasa would see us coming and guide us to the island. Right ... Had Saiko lost his marbles? Kenshin was beginning to wonder when suddenly light shined through to his eyes. Moments after his mind began to conceive a list of possible mental illnesses that could cause imaginary islands to appear, the boat cleared the mist. It was a sudden breakthrough-- the mist floated behind them, now in a clear area. They were in clear daylight, with great beams of sun hitting down on them ...
It was ... The perfect place for Noriku to let her watermelons absorb some sunlight! Uhh, I-I mean ... Kenshin shook his head to get the thought out of his mind. He was here to train, not locate a good spot to grow favorable crops! The two shinobi reached the docks, casually making their way towards the land. Kenshin took in his surroundings. The island was clearly akin to a nursery. The clear skies and beautiful landscape looked perfect for breeding of animals and the growing of crops. Also, there was something about the island's presence. Kenshin could tell that it was also the spot where great shinobi could be born. He turned to Saiko, "So, this is it? It's ... Incredible. I never imagined it would really exist." As he said these words, he'd continue walking. Eventually, he'd hang back enough to let Saiko take the lead, since the Mizukage was the one who actually knew where they were going.

- Toshikasa's Island!
- Spoiler:
The two continued onward through the mist in the small row boat Saiko had stationed for them. He knew it would appear as though they were lost in the thick mist. It was hard to see anything outside of arms reach so it would be hard to believe if someone said they knew where they were or where they were going. But Saiko knew what he was doing. He had faith in Master Toshikasas abilities. Kenshin was becoming impatient and questioning his Mizukages knowledge. It did not bother him because he already knew what it looked like. In due time... He thought to himself. It did not take much more time after thinking those words that Toshikasas special jutsu took effect. The mist began to suddenly disappear. Suddenly the light came out from hiding as it sheared its power down on the land below. Saiko squinted at the now blinding light as he tried to look around to examine where land was at. It wasn't long before he adjusted his vision to the new found light. I see. The giant green island stuck out of the ocean and was a beautiful sight for anyone who could see it. Saiko began to smile. He knew Toshikasa would come through. "There she is!" Saiko exclaimed. Kenshin had already taken a notice to the island as he stared in awe. He continued his way over to the island in the small boat until he arrived to land. He pulled himself over to the small docks that had just so happened to be where he arrived at. It seemed odd that the docks was not there when he just looked over in the same direction. He found his way to the island with Kenshin at his side. His student still seemed to be star struck as he looked at the island. He even spoke a few words expressing how he felt. Questioning whether or not they were there , if this was really it. "Yep, its damn near paradise." Saiko spoke out to him lifting his arms above and then behind his head and made them cross behind his head in a stretching manner but left them there after he finished his session of exercise. Only thing missing is a brothel. The Mizukage cracked himself up on the inside but on the outside he just showed a big smile on his face as he stared off into mountains ahead and above. "Funny. Its bigger than I remember." Saiko told his student studying his surroundings. "Well, we can start here if you'd like." The large Terumi said after walking out a bit further into the island just to get away from the water. It did not seem the Mizukage had no real target or destination where he wanted to end up at, he just stopped. Lets see. Saiko thought as he squatted down with his knees bent and met just short of his shoulders. He placed one hand on the moist grass and felt out the environment. "How do you wanna start this. You know your own limitations better than me so I'll let you decide how you want to get this underway!" Saiko said with another smile on his face. He was not happy because he was getting to fight and hurt someone. His intentions were much more pure this exact moment. He felt joy being with Kenshin, one of his most notable students hes ever trained and it had been such a long time since the two had spent this much time together much less went heads up in battle. We haven't went head up like this since you were a Genin. Let's see how much you have truly improved. The Mizukage awaited to see what Kenshin would do.

| Amazement. That was but one word to describe the feeling Kenshin got when he looked upon this tropical paradise. The healthy green leaves, the ripe fruit, the cool breeze, the refreshing spray of the waterfalls, everything. Kenshin had not known such a place would exist in the Land of Water. Hopefully, he prayed, this would not be the last time he'd attend a training session in this place. Eventually, Saiko came to a halt, identifying this as the place of training. Although, he made it sound indefinite, like he had no real exact destination in mind. That was fine with Kenshin; the place he chose was beautiful. It would be a fun place to train. Kenshin just hoped that the island wouldn't be torn asunder by the wrath of these two shinobi. As Saiko coped a feel on the grass, Kenshin got his distance, 20 yards away. He looked at Saiko with a smile on his face. He, too, enjoyed the thought of going against his teacher after all these years.
"It's been awhile, Saiko ..." Kenshin let out a little chuckle as he went, "We haven't faced off in years. Remember the last time, when you assigned our first squad that secondary test to face you in a spar?" Kenshin let that sink in for a moment, enjoying the memory. He knew that Saiko would also be pleased to remember the old days. Kenshin waited until Saiko was standing once more for the next line(assuming he would stand). "I hope you know I'm not the same Genin I was six years ago. Let me show you how far I've come! I'm not holding back!!" Kenshin dropped into a combat stance, knees bent, ready to spring in any direction. He was well aware of the abilities his now-enemy possessed. In a match of brawn, Saiko would definitely be able to overpower Kenshin, unless the latter used a technique to boost his strength. Given that, it would most likely be Kenshin's best bet to stay away from hand-to-hand combat.
The question was, how to start things off? Kenshin thought it best to test the waters a bit, learn what he was dealing with. Saiko was always a strong man, but exactly how strong was he? He did earn the title of Mizukage after all, so perhaps Kenshin had not seen all his skill. He'd start with a simple technique. Kenshin thrust his arms out in front him, palms out, fingerings extending outward in the opposite directions. Chakra began to flow through his system, charging in his hands. The sound of static broke through the air. "Lightning Beast Running Technique!" He cried! From the palm of his right hand, a terrifying beast shot out. It was a hound created by only lightning, standing five feet tall while on all fours, It charged directly at Saiko, moving with great haste to devour its prey. Every step it took left a trail of lightning, connected to Kenshin's hand. The boy's eyes were locked on his opponent, anticipating the next move. His hands were close by, ready to react at a moment's hesitation.

| The red haired man watched as his student revealed a smile on his face. It was obvious that Kenshin was feeling the same thing his teacher was. Already gauging your distance I see. Saiko began to wonder what if Kenshin already had a game plan going into this battle. It was then, in the middle of his thinking process that the student spoke. Reminiscing about the old days when he was that of just a child. The grin on his face never disappeared but it did grow after hearing Kenshin talk, now revealing his teeth and squinting his eyes. "Yes I do remember that. I have no doubt you have grown tremendously since then though!" He spoke as he laughed still in his three point stance. After he spoke, Kenshin spoke once more almost in a warning to his sensei. As if he was giving him a warning to not take him lightly, Kenshin got into his ready stance. It was hard for Saiko to erase the expression off his face because he felt so joyed at what was going down. Like all great shinobi though, he managed to hold his composure and force the friendly look off his face for the time being. Lets see what you have up your sleeve. He awaited anxiously for the man to make his first move.
Kenshin was obviously planning out his opening moves. Saiko knew off how intelligent the boy was. It was him after all who brought him up as a young genin. He did watch with pride as Kenshin soared through the shinobi ranks with ease. The Mizukage once more had to fight off a smirk from shining on his face with these thoughts engulfing his mind. He finally decided that time for flashbacks was over as he gritted down on his teeth, sharpening his gaze on his student. "Its time." He spoke lightly just at the same time Kenshin began his move. Almost as if it was right on queue. Kenshin thrusted his arms out in front of him vigorously as if he was angry or just caught in the moment. Letting out a loud shout, he echoed his techniques title throughout the valley they stood in. Lightning lit up the boys arms as if he were made of electricity as he channeled it to his hands. A hound appearing to be made entirely of lightning shot out in a furious pace towards Saiko. He did not have time to think out his actions as the distance between them was being closed relatively fast by the beast. Saiko bit his lower lip as he angered himself. A gesture he commonly did to help him think out his actions carefully. He was frustrated with himself that the whole time he was thinking about Kenshins actions, he did not think about how he was going to bring out this beast from with in him without making the battle ugly. Time was of the essence as the beast was closer than before. He had to make a decision and fast. Thoughts began to race even faster as the Mizukage thought out the possibilities he could take. I can't make this a hide, seek and attack game because he has sensing abilities. Saiko's time had ran out. It was now or never if here were to defend the attack or not. Luckily for him, he came to a conclusion. Whether or not it was a smart game plan or not, he thought of one and decided to see it through.
At once just as the lightning beast just about came into contact, Saiko, who was still in his three point stance this entire time placed his other hand flat on the ground and made his other hand follow suit simultaneously. The feeling of the moist warm grass was now being felt flat handed as he forced his chakra into the earth below him. Almost instantly, the earth beneath shot Saiko into the air as the ground stayed beneath his feet the entire time. As the earth continued to rise, he glanced down at the chakra hound who he assumed would have ran into the earthen wall that now existed in front of it. Just before the movable core of earth reached 20 yards high, Saiko slid his way down in a back flipping motion off the now mountain of earth. Being only in the air for a split second before finding the tower of rocks with both hands, Saiko grasped a hold of the movable core and allowed himself to slide downward in attempt to find his way back to solid ground even with Kenshin. As he finally landed, Saiko was just about the same distance he was before from Kenshin. He had to make his attack quickly. He quickly weaved a series of hand signs. Tiger → Horse → Rat → Dog → Tiger. Saiko then spewed out a fire that attempted to surround Kenshin in a circle. The fire acted as a trap for the meantime. Then Saiko watched as the jutsu take effect as a spider made of fire came from the flames and attacked Kenshin. It became a battle of elemental beasts!

| Saiko's hands were pushed into the ground. The ground began to rumble as the earth beneath their feet began to shift. Well, Saiko's feet. With the Lightning Hound fast approaching, Saiko took to the defensive, raising the earth beneath his feet to create a gap between the two. A massive wall rose from the earth to separate the man, raising to what appeared to be about twenty yards. The reaction was fast, placing nothing but a hardened wall in the Lightning Hound's path. Kenshin quickly reacted, snapping his right wrist inward to redirect the path of the Lightning Hound. In response, the beast made a sharp turn, hugging the wall and running along to gain some distance from it. Before long, Saiko continued his movement, going on the assault. He slid down his own creation, touching down on even ground before His fingers came together, intertwined in several different hand positions. Kenshin studied the movements, looking for a hint of what technique was being used. Two tiger seals. Then, the red-haired Kage inhaled a deep breath-- fire release!
Kenshin moved to counter quickly, by the time heated flames were spewing forth, Kenshin's hands were already in motion. He moved his left hand to his right, and weaved five hand seals. The boy brought his left hand to his mouth, cupping his index finger and his thumb together to form a ring. He brought his head to the right, and as he swung back to the left, exhaled the chakra he had gathered, manipulating it into the form of water. A large amount of water was created, forming a wave that would act as a wall. It crashed towards the flames, cutting off the boundaries set by the rectangular flames. While the gushing water could overpower the wall of flames that made its way to surround Kenshin, the fire spider was tougher to overcome. In the end, though, the fire spider was doused, cancelling the effects of Saiko's attack.
In the middle of all this, while the spider was being put out, Kenshin moved to the offensive. It was his hope that Saiko would be distracted by the clash of fire and water. It had caused quite the spectacle. Kenshin flicked his wrist back towards him, calling forth his beast once more. The Lightning Hound resumed its march, coming out of waiting. From behind Saiko, the beast charged, uttering not a single howl. As the beast crept towards Saiko, the sound of static would become audible over the sounds of the flame and water clashing. Just as that fiasco would finish, the hound would be on its prey ...
