The Flashing Void vs. Iwagakure's Leviathan

Two lone shinobi stand atop two long wispy trees amongst a sea of pine trees. A giant mountain loomed over them, a cliff the size of a mansion arched over the wooded area, barely out of reach from where they stood.

The trees swayed as wind tore through region, bringing with it an ominous cloud. Rain started to fall, angled sideways from the intense wind. The mountain next to them quickly vanished from eyesight, the sheets of rain completely covering the whole mountainside and forest. The trees lit up with a flash of lightning in the sky. Bolts continued to dance about the storm, some glancing off the cliff face.

Spying the other kage on the tree adjacent to him, Nakago said nothing. He knew why they were here today. So, with that in mind, Nakago let his body slip off his perch, falling down below as he evaded the limbs and leaves. He wanted to be down in the forest below. As he fell, he maneuvered his body forward, before striking the tree the Tsuchikage stood on with his massive strength. The tree would be obliterated, causing the Tsuchikage to fall if he didn't already move. Nakago landed on the floor where the Tsuchikage's tree previously was, watching carefully for his adversary.

What the hell is this guy doing? Rivu thought as he followed the Hokage's movements in the trees below. He didn't want to fight this guy, but, given his approach, it seemed to be the only alternative. He decided to make use of his current mental stability. Iryojutsu, Fuinjutsu, Taijutsu, Ninjutsu... Quite the rounded  shinobi. The tree was in fact, obliterated, but not before Rivu had jumped to safety; this was a big forest, after all.

Iryojutsu, Taijutsu and Fuinjutsu? Probably a close range righter. A smile crept across his face. I should feel him out first with my clones. This might just be fun. He thought, falling from the tree, gaining speed as he moved head first towards the ground. Manipulating the flow of chakra around his body, he slipped seamlessly into the ground, hopefully out of view of the aggressive ninja.

He hit the dirt, clapping his hands together at his chest. Ram, Monkey, Earth, Ram. Rock Clone Jutsu! Three clones separated from the soil surrounding the Tsuchikage. Let's see what he's up to.

Staying below the surface of the ground, Rivu hoped to trick the Hokage with this rock clone. One of the rock clones breached the surface and began to move steadily through the trees in the direction of the Hokage.

Used Techniques:

Of course Nakago saw the man leap away from where he was before. He wasn't an idiot, after all, regardless of how he acted. Nakago was actually, quite intelligent, he just liked having fun. Right now, though, he was serious. Very serious. Serious enough to be watch the Tsuchikage fall INTO the ground,and then come back out? Obviously, he did something underground. Judging by the droopyness of the Tsuchikage, he was obviously a clone. Using rock clones in the rain?

Nakago watched as the Tsuchikage ran towards him. He was cool with this, though, flashing through a few signs faster than anyone could see, then lifting his left hand up. Blowing into it, He shot out one spiralling balls of wind. This ball shot through the air, as fast as can be, hopefully to explode into the obviously fake man. The rock clone should be destroyed by it, but Nakago wasn't done. As soon as he cast his jutsu, he leaped up into the air, worried about what the man was doing underground. Nakago was an earth element too, but he didn't know any jutsu, really. He'd only just mastered that element.

So here he was, leaping from tree to tree, keeping an eye out everywhere to find his adversary.Hopefully, he could kill the Tsuchikage here, and prevent war from breaking out between their villages. It was one on one combat, not thousands on thousands.



Jutsu used: C-rank, Spiraling Wind Ball. -50% chakra cost due to Nin Mastery.

The clone was quickly dispatched. The rain was something that Rivu had not taken into account. God damn it, this is the kind of thing I need to avoid. He asserted his head upwards. Fine, he thought, reaching out to the clone beside him. Earth Style, Light Weight Rock Technique! The rock clone beside him dramatically dropped in density. As a result, it was now capable at moving at ridiculous speeds. Still beneath the surface, he followed the movements of the Hokage above. It was time to put on a show.

Rivu nodded in the darkness of the earth, and the clone understood. Together, they followed the Hokage underground for a short time, before bursting into action. He curled his arms into his chest and rapidly extended them back out to his sides; the Mountain's Peak Bracers on his wrists slid forward, ready to strike. Solidifying the ground behind his feet, he kicked off and lunged underground, waiting for Nagako to freeze.

At the same time, the rock clone, moving at incredible speeds, climbed a tree not far in front of the Hokage. Hurtling itself with great speed, he let loose a barrage of punches. At his speed, he was capable of producing a punch every 3 seconds or so. They were soft, doing very little damage, due to his Ninjutsu, but pain was not the goal, it was annoyance. Rivu waited underground for his decoy to distract the Hokage, perhaps make him slow down and stop on a tree.

Come on, Hokage. One stop, one breather and I'll shatter this tree from below.

Used Techniques:

What was this? As Nakago leaped from tree to tree, untiring, he noticed something following him rapidly. The clone came upon him, fists flying, moving at incredible speeds. As it drew close, shooting right to Nakago, the man leaped to it too, spinning to deliver a roundhouse kick to the clone, destroying it as it punched him about 5 times or so. The punches, like the maker said, were negligible. Nakago was a tough man, after all, and it didn't do much to him, other than annoy him. Still, he was only human. He landed on a tree for a split second longer than normal, before leaping off.

Well, he would have, if the tree didn't suddenly shatter under him. Fuck... Nakago thought to himself, free fallin to the floor. Well, now he knew where the Tsuchikage was. Twisting his body to quickly cast Great breakthrough at behind him, Nakago fell even faster than he was before, before twisting his body again and applying all his power in one, shattering blow. He was falling fast enough that escape would be impossible.

Finally, his fist shattered the earth in a giant impact. The ground crumbled away, trees were leveled from the shockwave, and shit got fucked up. Making a single handseal, Nakago leaped away from the wreck, casting mystical palm on himself to heal whatever damage was done from the fall. He was cool with it as he landed in another tree and began monkeying around, leaping too and fro to not get hurt again.

A wicked grin stretched across his face as the Hokage fell from the sky onto the ground below. Now I've got you! He pulled his hand to his chest and began to weave hand signs. Dragon, Tiger, Boar! Earth Style, Hidden Rock Swordfish! His hands and feet began to pulsate with chakra, increasingly filling with power. This was Rivu's signature style, the Hidden Rock techniques.

Current Stats:

He prepared his body to launch himself upwards, solidifying the ground beneath his feet and palms amid the Hiding Like a Mole technique. The plan was to launch himself upwards towards the falling Hokage and, by forcing chakra behind his blow, land a blow while he fell. As his chakra fluctuated, so to did his adversaries. As Nakago fell, Rivu sensed him preparing his Iryojutsu. Well... shit. He was fast, but he noticed it too late.

He altered course, shifting his body to the side as the Hokage fell. With a brilliant glow of chakra, invisible to anyone above grround, Rivu launched himself as far from the incoming assault as possible. He managed to clear a few meters of distance before the stones shifted, forcing the earth around him into the air. This caught him severely off guard as he was sent, carrying great momentum, right into the open air. His body flew like a ragdoll as he tried to reorient himself. Flying directly towards the trunk of a tree, he finally caught his bearings and force chakra from his hands and feet in front of him, desperately, almost hilariously, trying to slow down.

No, it could not be helped. He collided, head first, into the tree, splintering it and forcing it to fall to the opposite side. His body went limp as he fell to the ground. He sighed as he clutched the top of his head. "Impressive strength, Hokage." He said, still facing the tree as he slowly rose to his feet. He cracked his neck.

"Let me show you mine!" He said with heavy breaths, his fists held tightly at his sides as he eyed the hokage.
