Kage Extravaganza! The Leviathan of Iwagakure Vs. The Black Scorch!

You'll be conducting battle as you ascend the never-ending mountain that houses the famous Ice Climbers! This Super Smash Brothers Melee map packs an interesting wallop, so to say! This map is rather tight on space as you make your climb, leaving you only with ramps of wood and ice, along with the occasional ice block. Strangely, these ramps seem to defy the laws of physics! These ramps are able to float in the air magically, with no beams to keep them in the air. Although, these ramps do not move on their own. A shinobi is capable of passing through them as if they did not exist while traveling from the underside, however, when standing above them, they act as a solid floor. You are allowed to sink down below harmlessly while standing above for a C-rank amount of chakra.

The mountains on the sides are blocked by an unknown barrier, one so complex that not even legendary Fuuinjutsu masters have even begun to solve this complex mystery. In other words, you're trapped until one of the combatants face death. Your only option is to stay moving on the never-ending pathway of ramps. Placed along these ramps are a variety of boxes. These boxes cannot be opened, but when broken, possess kunai, shuriken, and smoke bombs.

But wait, there is more! This is not the end of the mystic powers that shinobi cannot begin to comprehend! Coming from below is an unspeakable monster, one that cannot be seen. Below the combatants is a stretched field of sudden darkness, an impenetrable mist that not even the sharpest of eyes can see through. A being of unimaginable power lurks in this mist, ready to devour flesh. The mist rises in chase of the combatant, the fearsome demon rising in its shadows. This forces the combatants to continue moving upward in their struggle, for the beast cannot possibly be stopped. A winner is declared when one shinobi is either dead or falls down into this horrifying blanket of darkness. If the shinobi do not continue moving upward, the mist will consume them.

Lastly, one cannot simply climb up to the top quickly to avoid the demon for ages. There is a limit to how high you can go. If you try to go too high, you will also be consumed my the magical black mist. If you reach the very top of the area in which you are currently allowed, the demon will reach you two posts from the time in which you reached the top. If you are near the middle, he will reach you next post. If you're near the bottom, run for your life! Rise at all costs!

The combatants may choose the speed at which they must rise. However, they must at a MINIMUM keep a decent pace. It is recommended that you move upward with each post.

Each shinobi has one free post before the shroud of darkness begins to rise.

Confusion flooded the Tsuchikage as he clawed his way through the earth in front of him. Typical of his style, he moved through the rocks and dirt using the Hiding Like a Mole Technique. This place was new, however. It was cold; shivers shot down his arms as he extended them forward. Where the hell am I? How did I get here?

Completely unaware of his location, he perused his course, hoping to eventually reach the surface, his perception of up and down was lost in the hungering cold of the surrounding rock. Then, as suddenly as he realized it, he was released from it. His extended hand breached the rocky side of a cold and icy mountain crevice. He froze in shock, uncharacteristically of the Leviathan of Iwagakure; he felt no more comfortable in the open air than he did in the ground. What is going on!?

His body fell limp onto a snow-covered wooden plank. His body slipped downwards on the angled platform and Rivu could do little to brace himself, his body still useless to him, and fell to another platform below. "God damn it, what is this crap?" He looked around himself, slowly climbing to his knees. He struggled and finally righted himself.

He brushed the snow from his red shirt, as well as his gray pants. The breeze picked up, blowing his long blonde hair out of his face, revealing his scarred left eye. His good eye flashed and he shivered in the cold. Good lord, what the hell am I doing here? His bare toes flared, trying to get some respite from the biting frost.

Ryuji was lying on the ground, in the snow, passed out. He suddenly woke up, the temperature must have gotten to him as his breathe was completely visible in the cold air, he had no clue how he had gotten there, had someone kidnapped him? But how was that possible, the last thing he remembered was doing boring Kage work in the Raikage offices. He stood up from the snow covered platform, it was a plank floating in the sky it seemed, strange.. There were quite a few planks floating around, Ryuji could see them go way up high. Ryuji luckily had his sword, Ka-Ryuu, with him, it was hanging on his back where he could easily grab it and be ready for combat, if the situation would turn to combat.

In front of Ryuji was a wooden box, Ryuji walked closer to the box, still unaware of the Tsuchikage's presence in the same area, he was wondering what was in the box. Was he meant to find this box? Why not? It was right in front of his unconscious body.. Now the question was whether or not the contents of this box were dangerous, or even if it had anything in it. It could be anything really, a cookie, a bomb, a stripper hiding in a cake holding a bomb while eating a cookie, anything. Ryuji walked closer to the box, and slammed his sword into it, the box split in half, and revealed... Nothing? Why was there an empty box in front of Ryuji...

Ryuji decided he needed to move on and find his way back to Kumogakure, what if someone was attacking it and had placed him here far away from his home. He looked around, noticing no one or nothing, except for some weird ass black cloud of some sort coming towards him from beneath, it was some distance away though, but not much. He decided to jump up on to the plank that was the closest to him which lead to the top, and tripped from the snow on it, it was very smooth.. Who put smooth planks floating in the air with snow on them here?! Ryuji got up quickly, luckily Jin wasn't here or he would have gotten laughed at and would never hear the end of it. Suddenly the cloud started moving faster, and Ryuji heard a noise. It sounded like a beast growling hard for food, as if it was starving. Is this all some sort of sick game? Ryuji says to himself.

The tremendous roar brought Rivu right back to reality. Okay, now that does not sound good. He thought to himself, peeking over the edge of platform, he saw nothing. He stood there, trying to figure out just what the hell was going on. This was atypical of his behavior. Ordinarily, Rivu let his instincts take over. However, with no obvious threat, what was there for him to react to? So he thought.

Another sudden screech of the apparent beast below echo'd loudly in the steep walls of his new prison. This one was much louder, though. The urgency of the situation was immediately apparent and Rivu knew, instinctively, what to do. Looking upwards he saw more wooden platforms and, more importantly, some earth. He jumped up quickly and reached for the planks above, only to have his hand pass right through. What the?!

He fell downwards again, but quickly bounced right back with more force. He aimed for the rock face adjacent to the illusionary footing. Jumping with much more force, he cleared the platform and landed on the jutting piece of earth. He turned around, his eye staring at the ground. Curious, why is the snow staying on the platform? He put his right foot out quickly, making note of the strange noises rising beneath him. He had cleared a good distance, perhaps 30 meters passed several groups of other platforms.

He stepped out onto the platform, ready to take to flight if he fell through. Instead, he stepped out onto the very real floor. He smiled and exhaled sharply out of his nostrils. Amusing. He sighed and looked above him, he was quick, so he wasn't necessarily worried about the beast below, he just had to keep rising. His face curled. What the- He thought, bringing his eye back down before him. He saw before him, an apparent shinobi, given the blade.

What is this? I cannot sense his chakra? What is this place?! Launching himself from his current position, he cleared the center of the crag towards the opposite side. He yelled out, demanding answers. "Hey, you! What the hell is going on here?!" He landed about a two meters in front of the Raikage, unknowing of who this man was. "Who are you? Where are we?!" He yelled out, clutching his fists at his side as he crouched to a ready combat stance. His attention was focused on the unknown shinobi before him, but he remained conscious of the rising roars beneath.

Ryuji stood on his plank which magically floated within the air, he looked around a bit to choose which plank to go to next as the mysterious black cloud with its creature grew closer, suddenly the beast gave a harder roar which shook the planks and made some snow on the mountain fall. Ryuji decided to jump on to the next plank quickly, once he landed someone else arrived. The person wore an Iwagakure headband.. Ryuji immediately tightened his grip on Ka-Ryuu, as he didn't trust any Iwagakure ninja. The shinobi asked him what was going on, who he was and where they were, Ryuji didn't know the answer to the first and last questions, so he answered; I don't know what's going on, and I don't know where we are. I'd rather not reveal my identity to you, but if you wanna stay alive you better get out of my way, more importantly his way! He pointed down at the cloud's direction.

Now are you going to just stand there or are you going to move?! If we want to have any chance of finding out what's going on here, I suggest we move! You can either be with me or in my way, no decide! Ryuji said with a serious tone to his voice, and made his move trying to get away from the beast. He quickly ran to his right, and jumped against the mountain, he ran up against it for as much as he can and pressed against it sending him backwards which resulted in him landing on the plank above them, it was quite higher than the normal ones which is why he needed to use the mountain to get up.

On the plank was another box, Ryuji decided to slam Ka-Ryuu into it, slicing it in half. Two kunai were inside the box, it was lying on top of something, Ryuji removed it and it was edible underwear... Wtf was going on here? Ryuji threw the underwear over the plank, and it fell straight towards the beast. The beast quickly jumped up out of the cloud revealing itself for a moment, its head was like a giant dragon head, it ate the edible underwear and stopped moving for a bit. Seems like it has some weird fetish for those underwear, hopefully there were more boxes containing them. All this was done after Ryuji put the kunai in his item pouch for a later use.

The strange man did not answer any of his questions, simply running away. Rivu rolled his eyes as he watched him climb the walls. Hmph, who is this guy? He sighed softly as he peaked over the edge of the platform. Yup, still an angry beasty down there, and some random dude here. A shinobi, by the looks of that sword. Suddenly, he began to lift slightly into the air. Picking up pace, he glanced upwards at the shinobi before looking towards the mountain sides.

No, there is no way I would just appear here with this man. My abilities are being impeded, this has to be targeted at me. That man, he is behind this. He squinted his eye as he peered back at the stranger. No, you're not getting away from me that easily. Rivu picked up speed as he headed straight for the rising shinobi.

He was fast. but not as fast as the Tsuchikage. Ryuji had moved upwards onto a platform. That much was clear as Rivu spotted the oddly placed panties that fell from there. Approaching quickly, he grabbed onto the platform and pulled himself up. Wrapping upwards over the platform, the Leviathan of Iwagakure grabbed the stranger by the vest with both hands. The two were sent flying upwards from the beast below.

More importantly, he had his enemies attention, and he was not taking any more lies. "Who the hell are you?!" He snarled at Ryuji. The two rose quickly and the air blowing back forced the hair out of Rivu's face. His fierce glare, next to the equally intimidating scarred left eye, met with his opponents. Maybe now he'll give me a straight answer.
