Unique Features: Constantly smoking, striking face with noticeable awareness.

Written Description: A long cloak hugs together at the tying point on his sternum, reaching down to the backs of his ankles. There is a swirl of red on the cloaks back, a mark that signified the owners dedication to his clan. Other than the red swirl on its back, the cloak is pure white without any other strikes of color. Beneath the cloak Akashi donns the standard shinobi vest worn by most Chuunin and Jounin in Konohagakure. His pants are straight black down to his open toed sandals that many shinobi wore. A well worn headband wraps around the gloomy red hair from the back to the forehead. Several dark strands of hair flop over the Konoha engraved metal plate situated in the center of the headband. A serious and awake face peers out through dull blue eyes. Smoke rose from the homemade cigarette, lumping into a more crotched position from every pull. This almost constant haze of smoke about the man is something of a regularity and a very distinguishing remembrance. When working on Fuuinjutsu techniques he generally wears a white colored button along with his normal black pants and shoes.

Akashi’s broad shoulders are clearly defined, even through his white cloak. His muscular form gives away his almost obvious Taijutsu attack style and skill. When Akashi isn’t doing work for the clan or the village, he wears a much more relaxed face. Generally when relaxing he enjoys wearing his civilian clothes that he also wears when working with Fuuinjutsu. The is of course always accompanied by a smoldering cigarette, a companion that he rarely desserts. Almost always on his person is a large water bottle that he lugs around to keep his mouth from drying out. Akashi has quite the low tolerance for the drying effect cigarettes often give him, causing his to constantly be sipping from his big jug.

Personality: With a stern face, Akashi can hold quite the intimidating glance we when so desires. He is incredibly diligent and dedicated to the continued advancement of his clans status. Akashi has found that working with the new generation of shinobi, especially those from his own clan. Helping out at the academy in his chunnin days, Akashi relished in even being able to help the newcomers. Teaching all ages of shinobi was a true delight for the Uzumaki member, something that he hoped to do with his own team one day.

In his downtime Akashi enjoys smoking out in a nice clearing and watching the sky. Aside from his seriousness with his clan duties and training new shinobi, Akashi is a fairly relaxed fellow, easily amused for hardly impressed. His standards for just about all qualities inhibited in a shinobi were quite high, including the students he has had the had the pleasure in teaching the basics of the shinobi way.

Akashi always rolls his own cigarettes from locally grown tobacco. He even has his own little garden that he tends which includes some home grown tobacco. Though rarely having time to actually tend his garden, he tried to visit it after each successfully completed mission and smokes some of his own tobacco. Smoking helps Akashi with stress, which can be a rather obvious tell tale for when something is bothering him.

The tactical and sophisticated intelligence that make up Akashi’s thinking mind is another tool in his arsenal as a shinobi, one that he had trained well and is quite capable in. When put down to it Akashi could be quite cold and calculating, despite his happy demeanor around those of the younger generation. In the heat of battle Akashi takes in everything around him and is able to quickly formulate a plan. With his photogenic memory, he can piece together certain observed events and analyze them at a rapid pace.

Family Members: Elderly mother and younger brother. His brother isn’t a shinobi but their father use to be, having died in the line of duty many years ago. He was mastered a unique fighting style he invented through the use of the multi shadow clone technique and doing multi person Fuuinjutsu techniques.

Backstory:

Shinobi Academy

Akashi’s years in the shinobi academy were brief, he excelled in all areas but Genjutsu, a weakness he clearly exhibits. In this time he learned what fighting styles he was better suited for and what he had particular talent in. He was an absolute genius with Fuuinjutsu, a true Uzumaki talent inherited into this boy. In the physical spectrum he excelled in both Taijutsu as well as with the aid of weapons at his disposal. This makes Akashi a very capable close to mid range fighter while not showing any real talent in the area of Ninjutsu.

He had no real problems throughout the academy, made few friends and kept even less throughout his end with the basic training. His teachers were nothing special, just run of the mill shinobi’s who capped their talent at the most basic level. Still, the ones who taught him were men, and they seemed honest and capable enough to be real full fledged shinobi. He was a rough and unforgiving kid, losing his father had been rough on him and he’d still not come to terms.

Genin

His shinobi career started here when he became a Genin, eager to prove his worth to the clan we went out with full force. A reckless kid he lacked patience, a value that is teacher beat into him ruthlessly. The result hardened the boy and made his think before acting, thinking before speaking. These were values essential to being the clan leader, which was his dream.

As he went on more and more missions with his team he grew stronger, until finally he was able to enter the Chuunin exams. This is what everything had been leading up to, and he wasn’t about to fail.

Chuunin

The Chuunin exams he endured were brutal, both his teammates did not survive the deadly arena. Strengthened by the new resolve formed from his intellectual advancements, as well as his own power. He bettered his Taijutsu and Weapons skill, as well as the customary advancement through his Fuuinjutsu studies. It was around this time that Akashi realized that he was a shinobi who possessed the power to sense chakra, an invaluable skill that he is incredibly proud of.

Jounin

His recent promotion to Jounin was an expected result of his hard work he had been at his entire shinobi career. Finally obtaining this high ranking position Akashi felt he was powerful enough to assume the role of the true clan leader, a role that village elders had taken up in the years past. It was time for a new era in the Uzumaki clan, one that Akashi seized without fail.

RP Sample: Two shinobi darted through the wooded area, leaping from branch to branch at near inhuman speeds. Anyone less coordinated and physically trained would crash into a branch and fall to a quick or slow death from high up in the trees canopies.

Damn, with this pace I won't be able to catch him. Looks like I'll have to resort to that. Moving his arm in a swiping motion, his hands skimmed over the seal written on the cloth taped to his forearm. As his fingers brushed over the seal, the Fuuinjutsu expert leaked out his chakra and fed it into the seal. Out poofed a custom kunai he had prepared before, one that contained the seal enabling the user to teleport his/ her body to it from almost any distance.

Extending his arm back, now gripping the materialized weapon, and hurled it forward above his target. As soon it flew through the air, he prepared a Resengan in the palm of his right hand, ready to strike once his kunai was in position. In the blink of an eye Akashi's body completely disappeared from its location and reappeared right above the rouge shinobi he was chasing. Floating in midair above his unexpected target, he quickly plunged the powered up chakra sphere into his targets mid back section. The attack was unforgiving, but a necessary brutality was what was needed to take down someone like this; a rogue Senju clan member.

His attack hit true, sending the pursued  man to tumble down the mangled tree branches to his death on the ground below. Hopping down through the mess of tree limbs, he landed next to the splattered body, removing a large scroll attached to a strap that went along his torso. Unraveling the parchment he fluidly flew through a number of handseals in order to use the dead body storing seal he was about to preform. Finishing the last handseal he thrust his palm into the center of the scroll, creating a seal that spread out past his fingertips. Placing his hands on wo circular inscriptions that stemmed from the complex seal, he poured his chakra into the technique, guiding it down and through the seal. The body in front of his warps upwards and quickly sucked into the scroll, leaving only a slight whisp steam that rose from the sealing point, disappearing as soon as it appeared.

While killing a member of the village wasn't easy, the fact that his target was a distant blood relative to Akashi didn't make it any easier. But this was a mission of grave importance, one that stood for the greater good of the village and his clan along with it. Having the perception to look beyond the cold reality of murdering such a fine specimen of shinobi from his own village, he had no problem in snuffing out his wavering emotions to conduct this cold deed.

What color is your cloak? I know it has the Uzumaki sign in it, but what about the rest of it? Are your shoulders broad, or narrow? How long is the cloak? Details are key, my friend. The devil is in them, you know.


Also, for your abilities... You made the Uzumaki clan a bit too weak, so i buffed it up the way I was originally going to to. The Sealing Mastery perk where you get 50% off fuinjutsu is already included in the clan, but I took out the +10 to fuinjutsu. So, you could change the Sealing Mastery perk to the Uzumaki Clan perk instead, and just rename your original Uzumaki perk to keep the bonus.

Your history and personality are pretty good, though. Personally, if you want more fate, I'd add another paragraph to your personality, but you don't HAVE to. Your written description needs some work though.
