Written Description: Yoshitsune is a smaller guy, with dull, bored eyes. It doesn’t look like he can do much in a fight, however if one were to take a closer inspection they would find that he actually has very well defined muscles, hinting at years of rigorous training. He wears tight fitting pants of athletic material with shin guards. On top he wears a short robe with a tight shirt underneath, the sleeves of which are seen past the short sleeves of the robe. When he is on ANBUA missions these are black, however when not, they are a soft grey. He also wears a pair of traditional combat sandals.
Yohitsune typically ties his headband around his left arm, however on formal occasions he ties it loosely around his neck. He has shorter spiked hair, which has oddly been snow white his entire life, He has been told that it is quite soft. Yoshitsune’s eyes are two different colors. The left is a dull blue, and the other a dull green, they are constantly shifting their focus from one inanimate object to the next, never looking others fully in the eye. Yoshitsune has always had trouble with people not remembering who he is, he has a very forgettable face and often has to remind people who he is, even after meeting them several times. The rest of Yoshitsune is of no real interest; he is, for all intents and proposes no one. In fact why don’t you just forget about him?

Faceclaim?:
Personality;
For Yoshitsune, his life is his work. Working towards his childhood friends’ dream of becoming a regarded shinobi. The ANBU became an outlet for Yoshitsune and his quest, as it provides missions only available to shinobi of the highest caliber. Yoshitsune pours all his energy into being the best shinobi he can be.
Yoshitsune is a very quiet person. It almost looks like he is not paying attention at all; he never really looks people in the eye, and always seems in a daze. This is because he is pouring all his energy into his senses. He is listening for anything, while scanning the room without drawing attention to him.
In conversation he is very quiet. Only speaking when he is sure no one else will say what he is thinking, and it is absolutely necessary that he speak. The only time that Yoshitsune seams truly happy is when he is on missions as an ANBU agent.
While he does not look it, Yoshitsune is an accomplished swordsman, and excellent at taijutsu. He uses his appearance to his advantage, letting his enemies think that he is vulnerable until the last second.

Backstory: Yoshitsunes was born in the same room as Renji, their mothers were friends and their waters broke at the same time. Yoshitsune and Renji were inseparable, everything they did they did together. Yoshitsune was born as the heir to the prestigious Hatake clan; his ancestors were the famous Kakashi and the famed White Fang of Konoha. As Yoshitsune would someday become the leader of the Hatake clan, he was in line to receive the famous sword of Hatake, however it appeared that Yoshitsune lacked the ability and talent that the rest of his clan had been known for. As they neared the age to enter Konoha’s ninja academy, Renji began to practice his shuriken and ninjutsu abilities. Yoshitsune was less interested in those things, he preferred to spend his time in nature, sitting still long enough for animals to come look at him. From this experience Yoshitsune learned to tread silently as he went about.
After three years in the ninja academy, the boys were nine years old, and Renji had shown amazing potential and was at the top of their class. Yoshitsune was the exact opposite, he was lazy and did not take the time to practice his lessons, but as they say, opposites attract and Renji and Yoshitsune remained best friends. Renji always made time for Yoshitsune, even if it meant practicing his ninjutsu and other assignments in the forest where Yoshisune loved to take walks. They would spend hours together, Renji throwing shurikens and kunai at trees, and Yoshitsune patiently waiting for his friend. Renji would tell Yoshitsune about the goings on of the other ninja academy students, who Yoshitsune didn’t even take the time to get to know. Yoshitsune would silently listen, submitting his advice or opinions, as often as Renji asked for it. It was on one of these walks in the forest when disaster struck. Renji had just achieved the amazing feat of reducing Yoshitsune to tears from laughing so hard at a joke he told about a classmate; as such they both were not paying any attention to their surroundings. At that moment a giant tiger stepped out from the shadows, in all likelihood it had escaped from the gated off forest reserve used for the chunnin selection exams. In recalling the event all Yoshitsune has ever been able to remember is a blur, one thing he did know for sure was the moment he saw the tiger, he froze, unable to move a muscle, so Renji jumped in front of Yoshitsune to protect him, in response, the tiger slashed Renji across the chest with its huge claws. Renji fell the ground, blood already pouring out from his wound. The tiger slowly advanced towards Yoshitsune, its eyes fixed upon him. Suddenly, there was a white flash across Yoshitsune’s vision; the tiger’s head fell to the earth. Next to the huge, now headless body, stood Yoshitsune’s father, the leader of the Hatake clan, Kakashi, named after his famed ancestor. In Kakashi’s hand was Santoryu, the legendary blade of the Hatake clan, handed down from clan leader to clan leader. The steal was dark grey, with the names of its masters etched into the flat of the blade. Yoshitsune rushed to Renji’s side, knowing that there was nothing he could do. Renji looked Yoshitsune in the eyes, smiled one last time, and took his final breath.
Several weeks after Renji’s death Yoshitsune still would not get out of bed. He was plagued with guilt, if only he had not been so afraid of the tiger, Renji would not have had to protect him, and perhaps his best friend would still be alive. He felt he had robbed his gifted friend of a brilliant career as a high caliber Shinobi. One day his father came into his room in a final attempt to get his failure of a son out of bed. Kakashi sat at the foot of Yoshitsune’s bed and explained to him the concept of a nindo, and how every great shinobi had something of great personal relevance to them that they fought for. After he left Yoshitsune thought of how Renji had died for him, and the guilt he felt for taking away Renji’s chance at being an exceptional shinobi. It was that day that Yoshitsune found his nindo, he would become a great enough shinobi for both him and Renji, fighting for the glory that his greatest friend had sought. He began training that very day, quickly climbing the ranks of the ninja academy, graduating a year early, at the age of 11.
It was now that Yoshitsune was placed in a three-man cell of his peers and began taking on missions. While he worked well with his comrades on missions, he never grew any closer to them. The only person who could get through to him was dead. His sensei was the closest thing he had to a friend, a descendent of the feared swordsman Zabuza, whose grand father defected to Konohagakure. He inherited his ancestor’s ability to silently stalk his prey, and he taught Yoshitsune as much as he could. Both of his cellmates died in the chunnin selection exams, Yoshitsune was locked in battle with a member of the lighting village when they died, there was nothing he could have done to save them, and he felt no guilt for their deaths. He had the pleasure of being paired to fight the same lighting village ninja in the final round of the exams. He had to kill the man, and for that death too, he felt no remorse.
By the age of 19 Yoshitsune became a Jounin, a true to testament to his work ethic. His father had been sick for a number of years, and the day of Yoshitsune’s promotion to Jounin, Kakashi died. The next day the Hatake clan held a sacred ceremony where Yoshitsune was presented with Santoryu, the sacred blade whose owner held absolute authority within the clan. In the final portion of the ceremony, his name was etched into the final slot of the blade. It was said that when a master of Santoryu died, a portion of their soul would leak into the sword, sometimes Yoshitsune would swear he could hear the past owners whispering to him as he carried about the legacy of his clan.
Yoshitsune quickly made a name for himself as a Jounin, taking on any quest that came his way. By his 22nd birthday the ANBU took interest in his stealthy and quiet method of dispatching his enemies. He was aloud to enter Konohas prestigious group of black ops assassins. He chose the sign of the tiger for his mask, in memory of how Renji died. After a year in ANBU Yoshitsune has not failed to impress, his white hair and silent stalking ability had earned him the name of the White Wolf of Konoha, in fact there is talk in his clan that he has begun to eclipse his own father, who was said to be a carbon copy of his namesake, Kakashi of the fourth ninja war.
RP Sample: Yoshitsune silently rolled out of his cot in the ANBU outpost, silently landing on the ground. He began the daily ritual of donning his ANBU armor, lingering on his mask, which brought back a flood of memories; Renji’s blood covering his hands, a flash of white as his father saved him… Yoshitsune quickly put on the mask so he wouldn’t have to look at it. Now the final part of his morning ritual, out of its ornate holding cloth, he extracted Santoryu, as soon as he grasped it, it accepted his flow of chakra, the blade and he were one, if he was perfectly silent, he could hear the faint sound of whispers. He grabbed his ANBU pack, with slots for his kunai, and shuriken. He climbed the ladder to the only exit of the outpost, which led up to the floor of a ruined shack in a foreign wood. This was as close as Yoshitsune was comfortable getting with out the need of extreme caution, so this was where he had decided to stay the night before he began the final leg of his mission. He had been assigned the task of slaying a minor lord who had been selling Konoha secrets to the highest bidder. The lord would be found in his villa, with no shortage of guards. This was no simple task, even for The White Wolf. The sun was already half way across the sky when he set out, but this was no concern, it would only take him a few hours to creep to the outskirts of the villa, and he would wait till dark to strike anyways. He was not worried. He set out he past a fallen tree, half an hour later, a found the same fallen log. “Do not think that I am not aware of you” Yoshitsune said to the forest. “You have been following me for two days, let us end this charade”. An odd lump in the fallen log got up and discolored until it was clear that a man had been hiding on the log. “Your powers of observation were not exaggerated.” The man threw two shuriken at Yoshitsune, as soon as they left his hand Yoshitsune unsheathed Santoryu and brought it up to block the projectiles. Quickly and silently he thought to himself, Santoryu began to hiss, itching for the blood of his foe. Yoshitsune began to gather his chakra in preparation for Konoha’s secret dance of death, the Crescent Moon Dance. He quickly weaved the signs to form his two shadow clones, as the three Yoshitsune’s weaved between each other the true one was lost Yoshitsune’s target was able to get off one great fireball, which obliterated one of the clones, however Yoshitsune was too close for him to get off a second attack and as he buried his sword in the mans chest, he knew that he had won, his remaining clone stabbed the shade of Santoryu into the mans stomach. With the fight over Yoshitsune dispelled his clone. He let Santoryu linger in the mans chest, as it moaned its pleasure of warm flesh on its cold steel. He lowered the dying man to the ground, as he whimpered his final breaths. Yoshitsune was suddenly hit with the exhaustion from splitting his chakra three ways. It had been long time since Yoshitsune was forced to use the crescent moon dance; he had forgotten how much of a toll it took on him. However with the immense amount of chakra he had sensed in the man it had been imperative that he finish the battle quickly. He would have to wait to finish his mission until tomorrow; a full nights rest would set him right. While that was not desirable, he was still alive, and Renji’s dream would continue, and that was all that mattered.
