Over 500 years ago, when Bijuu still roamed the lands of the Shinobi world, a great warrior was a jinchuriki of the One Tail, Shukaku. By having control over the Bijuu, he gained the ability to control Sand, using Earth and Wind Release chakra in harmony. After becoming Kazekage, the group known as Akatsuki had stolen the Bijuu Shukaku from him, but he somehow still had control over Sand Release. When the shinobi had children, his abilities were passed on to the children, officially creating the Sand Release kekkei genkai.
After many years of peace, the village was attacked by Iwagakure which started a great war between the two villages, and the Sabaku were one of the key pieces in winning that war. The clan helped the military a great deal, and the Kazekage was a Sabaku himself. Its very common for a Sabaku to become Kazekage, with their great ability to control sand and being surrounded by sand. The village recovered from the war, holding no grudges against Iwagakure, but the Sabaku weren't as forgiving, they never fully trusted Iwagakure again, and occasionally sent a few spies into the village to keep track of what they are doing. The war happened 300 years ago, but the Sabaku could never forgive them fully, though there were members who became frustrated with the clan doing nothing offensively, which ultimately led to a conflict within the clan. Many clan members turned on each other, which led to the clan being almost extinct, there were dozens of members, though now there are only a few left in the world.

Kekkei Genkei:
The members of the Sabaku clan have the ability to control sand, much like "sand bending". They carry sand gourds on their backs, just in case they need sand where there is no sand. The kekkei genkei exists out of a few stages:
Stage one: (50Exp) At this stage, sand control is still new to the users, they can make and use only E-C rank sand techniques. Their stamina has increased by 5 because of training their sand is not an easy feat. Their strength and constitution is raised by 5, from carrying their sand gourds, with some sand in it.
Stage two: (150Exp) At this stage, users are able to use sand techniques of E-A rank, they have become a lot more skilled in their sand control, they can now freely control sand with hand movements, at the cost of a A ranked amount of chakra, and can use that sand to stop techniques of only C rank and lower, because they aren't yet very skilled with the hand movement usage for sand control. They carry more sand in their gourds now, and gain 10 stats in strength and constitution, and 10 stats to their stamina. Their sand armor technique pays a B ranked upkeep per post (see technique)
Stage three: (500Exp) At this stage, the users have the ability to use sand techniques of all ranks, and their hand movement control for sand has been reduced, because of better understanding of the sand control, to C rank chakra, and can stop techniques of B rank or lower. The armor for them has become easier to use, with a payment of only C rank chakra per post of its usage. They now gain 15 stats in strength, constitution and stamina, plus the added bonus for the previous levels.
The users can now even crush normal earth to make sand to control. At this stage, the user's connection to the sand is very unique, it is connected to you in a way, this causes the sand near you to somehow "protect" you. No, you do not have the protection that Gaara has, just a lower level of it. It can protect you against shuriken, kunai, senbon, and even weak weapons such as katana ect ect. This happens without the user's will and costs no chakra to protect from things such as shuriken, but an E rank for things such as normal katana ect.
Water is a weakness of Sand Release, as the water can make it muddy and hard to control; Water gains one rank in power against Sand Release
Sand Release gains a rank in power against Lightning techniques, as Lightning can't shatter the sand any further like it does with Earth Release, and Sand Release contains Air Release.
Glass Release: After Mastering Sand Release, users are able to have access to Glass Release. This is a result of mixing Sand Release chakra with Fire Release chakra. The users can control the Glass they make in the same way they can control their sand. It costs C rank chakra to control glass, and can protect against B ranked attacks, just like a master sand user can with his sand. Users also have the ability to break the glass into many pieces, like they can with earth to make sand. Glass Release is one rank stronger against fire attacks, but one rank weaker against earth attacks.

Description: After using the sign, the sand release user covers its body in a layer of sand, which is not noticeable. The sand can protect against great taijutsu attacks, up to 60 strength, and protects against B ranked and lower techniques, if hit by an A rank, it would break off, and turn into normal sand again. Cracks and minor damage done to the armor through attacks can repair itself with more sand.
Drawbacks: A decrease of 10 speed.

Actually make the app for all the jutsu. The Uchiha got by this because it wasn't implemented, but like with the sand armor, you gotta make each jutsu an app.

Also, take out the con and str gains. Not every character in this clan will use a gourd, after all. There are several methods of carrying sand, like sealing for example. Besides, it's chakra sand as well. Gaara's con sucks without the sand, and his physical str isn't even used. There's no basis for it. So take that out, because no clan is getting 90 stats for any price. Clans are meant to help you develop your character, not make you a god.
